Go2 vs B2: edition-specific development and industrial integration

Identify the exact quadruped
Unitree’s Go2 product list gives approximately 15 kg with battery across AIR, PRO, X and EDU, and notes multiple EDU configurations. The current manufacturer table includes X in addition to the editions named in the catalogue.
Unitree positions B2 for industrial applications including inspection. Its page also describes optional wheeled forms and charging solutions; those options must not be assumed included with the standard legged B2.
Load and endurance need test conditions
The Go2 table distinguishes approximate payload from limit payload, with different values by edition. Those labels should be retained rather than combining the highest limit with another edition’s operating specification.
B2’s page separately claims standing load of at least 120 kg, continuous walking load above 40 kg, and over four hours continuous walking with a 20 kg load. These are manufacturer claims under different conditions, not one combined operating guarantee.
Specify the inspection or research system
Request the sensor package, mounting arrangement, development access and autonomy scope for the chosen configuration. An inspection proposal should state how data are collected, reviewed and integrated, rather than treating locomotion as the completed application.
Require a site trial with the actual payload, floor surfaces, steps and charging arrangement. No matched test, current availability or price was verified, and the accessible evidence does not establish relative reliability or economic benefit.
