Digit vs GR2: operational integration versus development scope
Agility describes an industrial automation solution; Fourier describes a humanoid development platform and toolkit. These are not equivalent procurement packages.

Agility presents Digit alongside Arc, a cloud-based platform connecting robot workflows with compatible warehouse automation, management and execution systems. Its solution also describes deployment support and monitoring.
Fourier’s GR2 brochure describes a platform for AI development, with application areas including research, manufacturing and reception. Listed application areas are not evidence that a specific customer workflow is production-ready.
Avoid generation and payload mismatches
Fourier lists GR2 at 175 cm and 63 kg, with 53 whole-body degrees of freedom on its product page. Its brochure specifies 3 kg single-arm load capacity; this is not interchangeable with a two-arm tote-handling payload.
Agility’s current product-sheet landing page refers to Digit 5, whereas the catalogue profile does not identify a hardware generation. The older catalogue mass, height and 16 kg payload are therefore not repeated as current verified specifications.
Define acceptance at the workflow level
For logistics, ask for trials using the intended containers, transfer heights, cycle pattern and warehouse interfaces, with uptime definitions and recovery procedures agreed in advance. For manipulation research, request controller access, sensing details and the exact hand configuration.
Confirm whether the proposal includes robot hardware, orchestration, commissioning, software and service. No directly comparable throughput, total cost or current purchase terms were verified, so these sources do not support a winner.
